Nigeria has developed Gas Transportation Network Code with the aim of increasing revenue generation and enhancing local gas production in the West African nation.
This makes the West African nation a major gas market for both national and international Investors and consumers.
Launching the Code, Minister for Petroleum Resources, H.E Timipre Sylva declared that “It is my firm belief that the implementation of the Network Code, which is a set of rules and principles, will guide the use and operations of the Gas Transportation Network System.”
The code, according to the minister would help to guide gas transporters and suppliers as “2020 had been declared the year of gas.”
…To underscore the essence and significance of the Network Code, Sylva declared at the launch:
