An LPG tanker was struck by shrapnel from unidentified projectiles while transiting the Strait of Hormuz after leaving the Gulf, the Saudi Press Agency reported, citing the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
UKMTO said on Monday it had received a delayed notification of the incident.
The tanker was expected to continue its voyage to its next port of call while the relevant authorities investigate the circumstances of the incident, UKMTO said.
