Kenya’s power utility company, Kenya power has announced restoration of power supply to some parts of the country that experienced power outage on Friday morning.
At about 9:20 am on Friday, Kenya Power in a statement informed the country that it was experiencing power outage affecting several parts of the country, except sections of North Rift and Western Regions.
However, in an update issued at about 11:55 a.m., the company said it has restored power supply to parts of North Rift, Western, Central Rift, Nairobi and Mt. Kenya.
The company apologized to Kenyans, especially those in the affected areas for the inconveniences caused by the outage.
It appealed to residents in areas that are experiencing outage to exercise patience as work is ongoing to restore power supply to them.
