The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has reported a power outage affecting parts of Greater Kumasi, Barekese, Tetrem, Ahenkro, Kodie, Mankranso, Kunsu, and surrounding areas in the Ashanti Region.
The power distributor attributed the outage to what it described as an upstream challenge.
ECG assured affected customers that engineers are on standby to restore supply as soon as the issue is resolved.
“ECG regrets the inconvenience caused to affected customers,” ECG said.
