A man has been electrocuted for attempting to steal part of the cables connecting the streetlights along the stretch of the harbour road at Tema Community ‘4’ in the Republic of Ghana.
The lifeless body of the suspect was found hanging on the control panel (Marshalling Kiosk) of the streetlights on Monday dawn by residents in the area.
Dressed in a batik T-shirt over a blue pair of trousers and holding aa polythene bag containing some tools, the suspect, who was yet to be identified by the police, was said to have been seen a night before the incident, roaming around the vicinity.
Police have since conveyed the body of the deceased to the morgue, while investigations continue.
