The Minister for Energy in the Republic of Ghana, John-Peter Amewu, on Friday, paid a working visit to inspect a micro hydropower project situated on the Tsatsadu River at Abehenease in the Hohoe Municipality in the Volta Region.
He was accompanied by the CEO of Bui Power Authority (BPA), Mr Fred Oware, and Director for Renewable Energy at the Ministry of Energy, Mr Wisdom Ahiataku-Togobo.
The visit was to enable the minister and the entourage see the state of the facility ahead of commissioning by the President early next month.
