Report reaching energynewsafrica.com indicates that a fuel tanker with registration number GT 4863-11 is in flames at Gomoa Buduatta on the Kasoa-Winneba stretch of the Accra-Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region of the Republic of Ghana.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Eyewitnesses say the incident has resulted in a serious vehicular traffic in the area.
Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service are currently at the scene to bring the fire under control
