Ghana’s power distribution company, Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will, on Friday, May 8 carry out a planned outage in Tema and parts of Accra, capital of Ghana.
The power outage, which will be between 10pm to 1am each day, is expected to end on May 14, 2020.
The planned outage, ECG explained is to ensure the smooth conveyance of 145MVA transformers from the Tema Port to the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point (BSP) construction site.
Areas to be affected by the one week power outage are Tema, Klagon, Spintex, Trasacco, Dzorwulu, Achimota and Ofankor.
