The Acting Chief Executive, Mr Godwin Kudzo Tameklo (Esq) accompanied by management and staff of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), have been actively engaging key stakeholders and familiarizing themselves with various petroleum installations in the Western Region.
Mr. Tameklo and his team first paid a courtesy visit to the Omanhene of Esikado, Nana Kobina Nketsia V. Following that, the team embarked on a tour of the Ghana Gas Processing Plant, Quantum Terminal’s Anokyi Facility and several key fuel installations within the Takoradi enclave to assess their operations and encourage full compliance.
Lawyer Tameklo further engaged some Fuel Tanker Drivers in the region and assured them of his utmost commitment to resolving their challenges.
Following this, the Chief Executive met with the Regional Security Council (REGSEC). Both the NPA and REGSEC pledged their commitment to strengthening cooperation in order to tackle illicit fuel smuggle and supply to galamsey sites. Lawyer Edudzi’s next stop is the Central Region.
